About Me

I am a generalist/polyglot software engineer and enjoy working on interesting and challenging problems. I am naturally curious and very much enjoy learning new things (programming languages, algorithms, concepts, anything really) along the way.

I am currently a "Full Stack Data Science Engineer" at 6Wunderkinder where I am building analytics infrastructure and analyze all the things to help make decisions based on data.

Before that I was the lead iOS developer on Wunderlist from version 2.0 to version 2.1 and helped building the first native iPhone and iPad apps.

I completed my Master's in IT-Systems Engineering at the Hasso Plattner Institute and worked on some HCI research during my time there.

During the 2011 Google Summer of Code, I worked on Python 3.3 and helped re-write the unicode string implementation to improve performance and memory footprint of the interpreter.

I also worked 5 months in Palo Alto, California during an internship at SAP Research and studied for 7 months in Jyväskylä, Finland as an exchange student.
